DPD is the UK's foremost time-critical carrier. It offers businesses an exceptional range of flexible, value-for-money delivery services both nationally and internationally. DPD's extensive UK and European network provides an unrivalled service to Europe and beyond by ground and air, and delivers an outstanding International Air Express service to the rest of the world.
DPD carrier supports Future Day Shipments.

Supported Origins and Destinations

DPD carrier can be used for shipments originating in the United Kingdom. Supported destinations United Kingdom (Domestic) and International Cross Border Shipment Within EU countries.

Labels and Supported Printers

Parcel supports the following label formats for DPD carrier:
• PNG and Label Size is 4.13 x 5.82 inch.
• Zebra and Label Size is 4 x 5.2 inch.
Note:
• DPD Label Reprint can be generated from GeoShip Web Service and it is available only for 14 days.

Forms and Reports

A Parcel DPD carrier supports the following forms and reports, when the user process international shipments:

Notes:

• Close: It is Pseudo close, Since it updates only Parcel System and carrier doesn't have close process.

• Void: If Shipper Voids any shipment it is updated only in Parcel System. It is not Updated in DPD Web Server.

Configuration

To configure the DPD carrier, please refer DPD >Account Numbers and Services section.

Supported Services

Parcel supports the following DPD Services.

• Domestic Services (Parcel)

• Domestic Services (Express Pak)

• International Services

International Services

The list of DPD International Services are as follows:

Notes:

• Multi Package Shipment (MPS) - In DPD they will call as "Complete delivery shipments". It supports for all DPD Domestic (Parcel) and International Services, but not for Express Pack Classic 2-3 Days (International) and Express Pak (Domestic) Services.

• Billing Type: Only Prepaid is supported by DPD carrier.

• Usually, Sender address which is printed in the shipping label has been filled by the user in the UI under the Sender tab. But in the case of DPD, this information has been sent by Geoship web service which is registered with the carrier during registration.

• Weight UOM: DPD carrier supports only Kgs.

• Dimension UOM: DPD carrier supports only Centimeter (CM)

• Rating is not supported by Geoship Web Service.

Reference Number Fields

You can use reference fields to include reference information (such as purchase order number) for each shipment.
The following table lists the reference fields that are available in the DPD module under Options Screen.

Note: DPD carrier supports only two reference fields for Shipment Level (Under Warehouse Screen), so you can use only two reference fields.
