About Address Groups
You can group a number of contacts in the Address Book as an Address Group. Using groups, you can perform shipping operations with multiple addresses collectively ( Group Shipping ) from the Warehouse or Desktop screens. You can add and edit Address Group information on the Group Tab of the Address Book on the warehouse page.
A group forms a single address record entry and is displayed as a single line item. Therefore, all operations (such as sorting and ordering) that can be performed on a single address record apply to the address group also. Letter '[G]' suffixed after Group Name distinguishes between a group and a single address entry.
Note: Changes to an individual address record that is part of one/more groups, are automatically reflected in the respective address record in the respective groups.
