FedEx International DirectDistribution Surface Solutions - Shipping Services |
Scroll |
FedEx International DirectDistribution Surface Solutions, formerly known as FedEx International Transborder Distribution, are provided to streamline large shipments from Canada and Mexico to U.S. destinations. This service consolidates shipments for simplified customs clearance by either FedEx Trade Networks® or a broker of choice. After your shipment enters the U.S. you receive access to the full range of FedEx services in the U.S (see following table).
After you configure your system for FedEx International DirectDistribution Surface Solutions (IDDSS) shipping, you can begin processing shipments on your Canada origin, U.S. origin, or Mexico origin accounts.
You can use any of the following U.S. domestic FedEx shipping services to process FedEx IDDSS shipments. These services apply to the second leg of the IDDSS shipment (from the export/import point at the U.S. border to the final U.S. destination). Refer to the Process Overview Help topic for more information.
This topic also lists the Special Services that can be applied with the FedEx International DirectDistribution Surface Solutions Service. Click here for the Special Services list.
