Note: In addition to completing the normal tabs on the Warehouse page for an international shipment (INTL and Items tabs), you might also need to complete some fields on the More Detail tab (after you click [OPTIONS]) on the Warehouse page.
Value Added Services (VAS)/Accessorials
Note: Most of these services can be selected in the Options dialog box (while processing a package on the Warehouse page, click [OPTIONS] on the Parcel tab) or on the Warehouse screen Bill To tab.

Bill Receiver |
Allows for billing of shipment charges where the receiver located in the United States accepts responsibility for all charges prior to delivery. The receiver at the destination controls the rates. On the Bill To tab of the Warehouse page, select Recipient. |
Bill Shipper |
Allows for billing of shipment charges where the shipper accepts responsibility for shipment charges prior to delivery. The shipper controls the rates. On the Bill To tab of the Warehouse page, the default value is Prepaid. |
Bill Third Party |
Allows for billing of shipment charges where a third party located in the United States accepts responsibility for all charges prior to delivery. The third party controls the rates. Can be used with international shipments, but the third party account holder must reside in the United States. On the Bill To tab of the Warehouse page, select Third Party. |
COD (Cash Only) |
Available with all domestic services except @Home services. To select C.O.D. while processing a DHL package on the Warehouse page, click [OPTIONS]. On the Shipment tab, select the COD type and option on the left side, then enter the COD Amount on the right side of the screen. For multi-package shipments, the COD Amount can be different for each package, but the COD type and option must be the same for all of the packages in the shipment. |

Duties and Taxes Paid |
Billing term - Seller is responsible for all transportation, customs clearance, and duties or taxes (a totally prepaid shipment). The payer of the freight and the duty/Value Added Tax charges must be the same party. Worldwide Priority Express only. Cannot be combined with Bill Third Party if the third party account number is Transport Collect Payer Controlled (TCPC). From the Warehouse page, click [OPTIONS], then select Delivery Duty Paid from the DDU/NDS/DDP list. |
Delivery Duty Unpaid |
Billing term - Seller is responsible for all transportation and customs clearance. The buyer is responsible only for the payment of customs duties/taxes abroad. From the Warehouse page, click [OPTIONS], then select Delivery Duty Unpaid from the DDU/NDS/DDP list. |
Description of Goods |
For use with USPS Return Service Requested Special Services. From the Warehouse page, click [OPTIONS], then type a description in the Description field. |
Global Mail Item Count |
Global Mail shipments only - the number of pieces of unstamped mail in the Global Mail bag. From the Warehouse page, click [OPTIONS], then type the Global Mail item count in the Global Mail Item Count field. |
Next Day Package services or 2nd Day Package service only. |

Hold at DHL |
Available with all domestic services except Residential Delivery and Saturday Delivery. From the Warehouse page, click [OPTIONS], then select the Hold at DHL check box. |

Package Content Desc[ription] |
Required for all shipments with a Shipment Value Protection (Declared Value) amount greater than $5,000.00. From the Warehouse page, click [OPTIONS], then enter the description in the Package Content Desc field. |
Residential Delivery |
Available with all domestic services if allowed by the SPCLSVC.ASC file. Select the Residential check box on the Receiver tab of the Warehouse page. |

Saturday Delivery |
Only with Worldwide Priority Express, Int'l Document Service services, and Next Day 12:00 pm services and not with Hold at DHL. From the Warehouse page, click [OPTIONS] , then select the Saturday Delivery check box. |
Shipment notification |
E-mail notification about the status of the shipment. From the Warehouse page, click [OPTIONS], then type the e-mail address to which to send the notification e-mail when the package is delivered, delayed, or shipped (sent). The corresponding fields are: •E-mail on Delivery •E-mail on Delay •E-mail on Sent |
Shipment value protection |
Insures the shipment from the shipping location to the final recipient’s location. From the Warehouse page, click [OPTIONS], then enter the value to insure in the Declared Value field. Package Content description is required when the amount is greater than $5,000.00. |
Delivery Confirmation |
Worldwide Priority Express and Int'l Document Service services only. From the Warehouse page, click [OPTIONS], then select Proof of Delivery in the Delivery Confirmation drop-down list: Signature Required. (Not selecting this option is equivalent to delivery confirmation not required.) |
Special Handling |
For packages that require special handling. From the Warehouse page, click [OPTIONS], then select the Additional Handling check box. |
Transport Collect |
Worldwide Priority Express and Int'l Document Service services only. |
USPS Return Service Requested |
@Home services only. From the Warehouse page, click [OPTIONS], then select the USPS Return Service Requested check box. For BoundPrintedMatter@home services, you do not need to select the USPS Return Service Requested check box because USPS Return Service Requested is automatically applied to all BoundPrintedMatter@home services - this is DHL's rule. |
