SAC

The Destination Service Area Code (SAC) for the shipment.

This can be found in the DHL Pocket Service Directory or by contacting DHL at 1-800-CALL-DHL.

This is required in the case of a duplicate SAC.

Shipper's Export License

The shipper's export license number.

An export license number is required if you ship commodities that are licensable under the Department of Commerce. Most Department of Commerce licenses begin with the letter D and are followed by six digits.

Note: License Number field also appears on the Items tab on the Warehouse page. Also, you type your shipper's export license into the Parcel Configuration Tool when you set up DHL.

Shipper's EIN/SSN or VAT number

The shipper's Employer Identification Number (EIN), Social Security Number (SSN), or Value Added Tax Number (VAT number).

Movement Certificate/IT/SAD

The Shipper Movement Certificate/IT/SAD. This is not required by DHL. For more information, refer to the Web site of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) division of the Homeland Security Department at Customs and Border Protection.

Receiver Import License

The recipient's import license number. This is not required by DHL.

Receiver EIN/SSN or VAT Number

The recipient's Employer Identification Number (EIN), Social Security Number (SSN), or Value Added Tax Number (VAT number). This is not required by DHL.

Shipper 22 CFR

The Shipper 22 CFR (pertains to U.S. Customs SED filing requirements for international shipments). This is not required by DHL.
