Support for new USPS service and other updates

•Flagship 5.1 supports a new service introduced in January of 2012 by USPS called Parcel Select Lightweight. Parcel Select Lightweight replaces the Standard Mail parcel service with corresponding machinable and irregular pricing options. Parcel Select Lightweight also retains the physical standards, eligibility, and entry level pricing previously applicable to Standard Mail parcels. •Standard Mail options are now removed from Flagship.

Miscellaneous improvements and updates

•To address performance issues, a new field enabling the user to set the Weight Polling Interval is added to the Location Settings > Shipper Defaults > Advanced tab and the My Profile > Settings > Application tab.

•A DO_NOT_SAFE_DROP API Key applicable to Canada Post (CAPO) with valid values of y/n is added in order to support Canada Post "Do NOT Safe Drop" shipment special service. This Key is valid on TOHOLD, RATE, SHIP, PSHP.

•To meet IATA requirements, the fields Net Explosive Mass (NEM) and NEM UM (NEM Unit of Measure) are added to the Item sub-tab of the Warehouse Options screen Dangerous Goods tab for international Shipments for the following carriers: DHL Global, FedEx, UPS.

Addition of DHL Global carrier

The Flagship DHL Global carrier operates in conjunction with DHL XML-Pi Services (a type of Web service). This online integration platform that provides a range of information including service availability, rating, tracking, and other support for shipments originating in a multiplicity of countries.
