Universal Carrier Module

Flagship now includes the Universal Carrier Module (UCM). UCM supports the creation of custom parcel carriers and facilitates implementing local carriers in the Europe and Asia-Pacific regions and enables complete embedded compliance (rating and routing files, manifest and label generation) as well as connecting to Web services or external carrier supplied files and software. BluJay Solutions Export Integration

Flagship is now integrated to work with the BluJay Solutions Export application for API requests. You must configure BluJay Solutions Export Integration through the Flagship Web Admin tool. See the BluJay Solutions Export Integration topics under Global Settings and Location Settings and the Flagship 5.2 Installation Guide.

Note: Currently, this integration can be used for the shipping process via API requests only.

Support for UTF-8 Unicode Character Set

Flagship now supports the UTF-8 Unicode character set. See the Flagship 5.2 Release Notes for details.

Other Enhancements

The following are other enhancements to Flagship in version 5.2:

•Flagship now includes a Purge Utility configured to purge data from specified schemas, as well as clean up files as part of the purging process and perform extended repair and optimization on tables where data is purged.

•Flagship now supports the Asia-Pacific region for the TNT Express carrier.

•Flagship now has USB scale support for Toledo PS60 and Fairbanks scales.

•A new EOD Grouping feature has been added to the UPS carrier. This feature adds support for UPS EOD Consolidation of shipments that do not qualify for re-rating for tracking purposes.
