Use the System tab on the US Postal Service Account Defaults page to enter the following values for this US Postal Service account.
Unless otherwise noted, all settings apply only to this US Postal Service account at this location.

Upload Server |
From the drop-down list, select one of the following values to indicate file download/upload settings for the USPS server: •FTP – Regular FTP location (the default) •SFTP – Secure FTP location Note: Values for the fields in the EOD Upload SFTP Information sections depend on which selection you make. |
This section defines settings for the end-of-day upload to the US Postal Service. The electronic end-of-day upload file is generated only for the services which have electronic upload (only Express Mail International services - EMS and EMIE) and for packages with Delivery Confirmation. For all other services, only the status of the shipment gets updated after you close the US Postal Service.

The directory to post Express Mail Proof of Delivery files from the US Postal Service FTP site. The default is: ../delconf/incoming After you close the US Postal Service in Parcel, Parcel automatically downloads any Express Mail Proof of Delivery files from the US Postal Service and copies them to the directory you specify here. |
Signature Conf. Directory |
The directory to post Signature Confirmation Proof of Delivery files from the US Postal Service FTP site. After you close the US Postal Service in Parcel, Parcel automatically downloads any Signature Confirmation Proof of Delivery files from the US Postal Service and copies them to the directory you specify here. |
Manifest Suffix |
The suffix for US Postal Service PLD manifests. |
Min File Number |
The minimum file number for US Postal Service PLD files. The default is: 1 |
Max File Number |
The maximum file number for US Postal Service PLD files. The default is: 99999999 |
Manifest Prefix |
The prefix for US Postal Service PLD file names. The default is: manifest |
PLD Filename Format |
The format for US Postal Service PLD file names. The default is: .\uspsupld\.manifest Note: A PLD file is generated only for the services which have electronic upload (only Express Mail International services - EMS and EMIE) and for packages with Delivery Confirmation. For all other services, only the status of the shipment gets updated after you close the US Postal Service. |

Select this check box to have Parcel verify the dimensions you enter for Bound Printed Matter (BPM) Flats and use the higher parcel rate for the Flat if one or more of the dimensions you entered fall within these ranges: •Length over 15" but less than 34" •Width over 12" but less than 17" •Height over 3/4" but less than 17" |
Standard Mail Non-Barcoded Surcharge |
To apply the surcharge for non-barcoded Standard Mail pieces, select (check) this check box. Note: This surcharge does not apply to pieces sorted to 5-digit ZIP Codes. See the following Help topic for a description of how Parcel handles USPS barcoded and non-barcoded labels: US Postal Service (USPS) - Supported Services. |
Append Date in PLD Filename |
From the drop-down list, select Yes to append the date to a PLD filename or select No not to append the date to a PLD filename. |

Port Number |

Username |
The username for the US Postal Service SFTP site for uploading end-of-day eVS files. |
Password |
The password for the US Postal Service SFTP site for uploading end-of-day eVS files. |
PGP Public Key Path |
The absolute path (including filename) for your USPS-supplied PGP Public Key file used to encrypt the end-of-day eVS upload files. Notes: •Pretty Good Privacy (PGP) is a data encryption and decryption program for signing, encrypting, and decrypting information transmitted across the Internet. •Maximum length is 40 characters. |
PGP Private Key path |
The absolute path (including filename) for your PGP Private Key file used to decrypt the end-of-day eVS download files. Note: Maximum length is 40 characters. |
PGP Private Key Passphrase |
The PGP Private Key passphrase to decrypt the end-of-day eVS response (download) files. Note: Maximum length is 40 characters. |

SFTP Download Directory |
The SFTP download directory to which where your end-of-day eVS files are downloaded from the U.S. Postal Service SFTP site. The default value for this field is: outgoing |
Upload File Local Directory |
The local directory where you want create and save the eVS Manifest files for uploading to the USPS SFTP site. Note: This is a relative path from the Parcel bin folder on the Parcel server. The default value is uspsupld\evs |
Click [SAVE] in the lower-right corner of the screen to save any changes you make or click [CANCEL] to revert to the original values.
