US Postal Service - Account Defaults - SvrPrty Tab

Use the SvrPrty tab on the US Postal Service Account Defaults page to enter the following values for this US Postal Service account.

Unless otherwise noted, all settings apply only to this US Postal Service account at this location.

Top section

In this box...

Do this..

Special Handling Fee

Type the special handling fee.

Pickup Fee

Type the pickup fee.

Additional Handling

Select this check box if this account uses the Additional Handling accessorial.

Registered Mail

Select this check box if this account processes Registered Mail.

Restricted Mail

Select this check box if this account processes Restricted Mail.

Mailing Certificate

Select this check box if this account uses the Certificate of Mailing accessorial.

Coverage Type

From the drop-down list, select the type of insurance coverage as follows:

Nothing requested

Declared Value requested

Default COD Amount

Type the default COD amount.

Return Receipt section

In this box...

Do this...

Return Receipt Flag

Type the Return Receipt flag. Valid value are "y" (without quotation marks) for Return Receipt Requested, "n" for no Return Receipt.

Option

From the list, select the Return Receipt option:

Requested at the time of mailing

Requested after mailing

Currently, only Requested at the time of mailing is supported.

Delivery Confirmation section

Option

From the list, select the Delivery Confirmation option:

Electronic

Retail

Currently, only Electronic is supported.

Type

Type the Delivery Confirmation type.

Click [SAVE] in the lower-right corner of the screen to save any changes you make or click [CANCEL] to revert to the original values.
