Use the Account tab on the US Postal Service Account Defaults page to enter the following values for use with this US Postal Service account.
Unless otherwise noted, all settings apply only to this US Postal Service account at this location.

Qualify for Barcode Discount |
If this account processes the type and quantity of pieces to qualify for the bar code discount, select this check box. For each pickup, you must ship at least fifty pieces of Parcel Post per eligible service to qualify for the discount for that service. |
USPS Permit Number |
Type the U.S. Postal Service permit number supplied to you by your U.S. Postal Service representative. |

Type the Priority Mail Express Corporate Account number. |
Permit Number |
Type your permit number. This number appears in the permit imprint on flat pieces. |
Federal Agency Number |
Type the USPS account number from which mailings for this Parcel USPS carrier are to be paid. |
Chargeback Code |
Type the code associated with the Federal Agency Number. |
Mailer ID |
Type your Mailer ID (formerly D-U-N-S Number). The Mailer ID assigned by USPS that uniquely identifies the agent associated with a particular mail piece. This agent may be the mail owner, a mail service provider, or a mail transportation company (mail logistics and distribution companies). The Mailer ID is a field within the Intelligent Mail barcodes that used to identify Mail Owners and/or Mailing Agents. It is required in all Intelligent Mail barcodes. Mailer ID is sometimes abbreviated to MID. You apply to the USPS for a Mailer ID. Notes: •This Mailer ID is applicable to non-eVS shipments only. USPS requires a separate Mailer ID for eVS shipments. See the following Help topic: US Postal Service - Account Defaults - eVS Tab. •Parcel supports both six-digit and nine-digit Mailer IDs. |
Drop Shipment Confirmation Number |
Type the Priority Mail Express Drop Shipment Confirmation Number. |

This number is assigned by the US Postal Service and is automatically displayed. |
Customer Number |
Type the USPS Customer Reference Number. |
Mail Owner Mailer ID |
Type the USPS Mailer ID for the client for whom the shipper is mailing. |
Mail Owner Customer Registration ID (CRID) |
Type the Mail Owner Customer Registration ID (CRID). This information is used by the mailing agent to identify the mail owner. |

Destination NDC Entry |
If the USPS National Distribution Center (NDC) where presorted Parcel Select Lightweight shipments are dropped off (see following row) is a Destination NDC, select (check) this check box. |
NDC Presort |
If Parcel Select Lightweight shipments are presorted sacks to be dropped off at a USPS National Distribution Center (Origin or Destination NDC) select (check) this check box. |
Notes:
•For Parcel Select Lightweight presorted sacks, minimum weights are as follows. Parcel validates these weights during Close:
- Machinable Parcel NDC Sack – 10 lbs.
- Irregular Parcel NDC Sack – 10 lbs.
•Presorted Parcel Select Lightweight shipments are a form of consolidation. When you configure this type of shipment, Parcel re-rates the shipment at the reduced rate offered by USPS. You can also specify the type of NDC presort for a shipment on the Warehouse Options screen by selecting one of the following options from the PS Lightweight Sack Level drop-down list:
- 5-digit – 5-Digit NDC sortation rate for Parcel a Select Lightweight presorted shipment.
- Mixed NDC – No pre-sort rate for the Select Lightweight shipment. This is the default if no option is selected.
- NDC – Presort rate for a Parcel Select Lightweight presorted shipment.
•The Pre-sort rate on the Account Default Account Tab settings for Parcel Select Lightweight applies only to re-rating that occurs during the Close process. To obtain an immediate rate at Ship time, select the appropriate options from the PS Lightweight Sack Level drop-down list on the Warehouse Options screen.
After configuring the Account Defaults Account Tab, click [SAVE] in the lower-right corner of the screen to save any changes you make or click [CANCEL] to revert to the original values.
