To process a DHL Return Service shipment, follow these steps:
1.On the Warehouse page, make sure the Ship From location is the location that DHL approved for Return Service. Click the Location hyperlink at the top of the page to view or change your Ship From location.
2.On the Receiver tab, enter the address of the consignee who will receive the package. This is the Ship To address that will appear on the DHL shipping label.
3.Select the Return To tab. Click the arrow next to the Return Cust Code field and select the return address that DHL approved.
4.On the Parcel tab, select DHL in the Carrier list. Select a non-@Home domestic service in the Service list.
5.In the Weight field, enter the weight of the package.
6.Select the carrier or user packaging type you are using to ship the package.
7.Click [OPTIONS].
8.On the Shipment tab, in the Account Number field under the Return Service heading, type the Alternate Return Address account number that DHL gave you.
9.Select the Return Service check box.
10.Click [DONE] to close the Options dialog box and return to the Warehouse page.
11.On the Parcel tab, click [ADD] to add the package to the shipment.
12.Click [SHIP] to ship the package.
13.After the package ships successfully, the DHL shipping label will print. The following text prints on the label: IF UNDELIVERABLE, CHECK SERV/SERA FOR RETURN ADDRESS.
A Return Service fee is not applied to the outbound shipment. If the shipment needs to be returned, then special charges are applied based on the rate file DHL supplied for use with Return Service.
