BluJay Solutions Parcel 21.1.0 - User Guide

Navigation: BluJay Solutions Parcel Configuration (Web Admin) Tool > Carrier Configuration > United States Postal Service (USPS) > Account Defaults

US Postal Service - Account Defaults - Reports Tab

Scroll

Use the Reports tab on the US Postal Service Account Defaults page to enter settings related to the Jasper reporting tool. Most of the fields on this page are blank because they use internal default values.

Jasper generates all US Postal Service reports in .pdf format. The generated .pdf reports are saved in the directory set in the KEY_IN_OUTDIR key.

Caution: Do not edit any of the default values or enter any values on the Reports tab. If you think you need to change any of the settings or enter any values, contact BluJay Solutions Customer Support first at 1.866.649.1900.

Is Report Printed

To automatically send the report to the printer that is set in the printer map, select this check box.

If this check box is cleared, the report will appear on the client screen (if a PDF viewer is installed on the client) and the user can select File > Print to print it. If a PDF viewer is not installed on the client, the user is prompted to save the report file.

Note: Each client workstation must have a PDF viewer (such as Adobe  Reader) installed on it so that the user can print the report by selecting File > Print.

Is Report Debug

To create the debug request and response files (these files contain the transactions that occur on the client side), select this check box. The debug files are useful in troubleshooting any problems.

Debug Request Filename

Type the path (to store) and the file name of the XML debug requests. You can edit the path but do not edit the file name.

Debug Response Filename

Type the path (to store) and the file name of the XML debug responses. You can edit the path but do not edit the file name.

The response.xml file indicates success or any errors that occurred.

Click [SAVE] in the lower-right corner of the screen to save any changes you make or click [CANCEL] to revert to the original values.
