UPS Canada - Shipper Defaults - System Tab

Use the System tab on the UPS Canada Shipper Defaults page to enter system-related values for use with this UPS Canada account.

Unless otherwise noted, all settings apply only to this UPS Canada account at this location.

PLD File section

In this box...	Do this...
PLD File	Type the path to store PLD files during upload. You can edit the path but do not edit the file name.
SSL Host	Type the IP address for the Stunnel host. Stunnel is used to upload PLD files to UPS.
SSL Port	Type the port number for the Stunnel host.
PLD User Id Port	Type the user ID for accessing PLD files after you upload them. This is a required field.
PLD Password	Type the password for accessing PLD files after you upload them. This is a required field.
PLD Type	Type the message types for the received message for parsing.
PSM PLD Type	Type the message types for the received message for parsing.
CTRL File	Nothing. The field is auto-populated with the path to store Response file from UPS server. You can edit the path but do not edit the file name (CTRL.ups).
SSL Recv File	Type the path to store intermediate server communication files received from UPS during PLD uploads. You can edit the path but do not edit the file name.
SSL Temp File	Type the path to store intermediate server communication files during PLD uploads. You can edit the path but do not edit the file name.
UPS Icon	Type the icon file name.
UPS Host	Type the URL of the UPS site to upload PLD files. The sites for testing and production are: •Testing: www.pld-certify.ups.com •Production: www.pld.ups.com
Validation File	Type the path to store the validation file from the UPS server. Do not edit the path.

In this box...	Do this...
Access License Host	Accept the default for UPS Online® Tools registration or enter an updated Access License Host address (if applicable). The default URL for the UPS Online® Tools Web site is onlinetools.ups.com. This field is required.
Port	Accept the default for port or enter an updated Port number (if applicable). The default is 443. This field is required.
HTTP Version	Accept the default for HTTP Version or enter an updated value for the version (if applicable). The default is 1. This field is required.
Registration Host	Accept the default for Registration Host or enter an updated host address (if applicable). The default is https://onlinetools.ups.com/webservices/Registration. This field is required.

Click [SAVE] in the lower-right corner of the screen to save any changes you made or click [CANCEL] to exit the screen.
