To process the Access Point Hold Service shipment with a UPS US carrier, follow the below steps:
1.Complete the required information on the Warehouse screen for a package. Select UPS in the Carrier list, and then pick up appropriate service.
2.Click [OPTIONS] to display the Warehouse Options screen.
3. Select the Access Point Hold Service tab, complete the following fields:

Select this check box if you want to apply Access Point Hold Service. Note: This check box is unchecked (cleared) by default. |
Notes:
•After selecting Access Point Hold Service check box, the following fields are enabled to enter Alternative Delivery Address Data and Consignee Notification data.
Alternate Delivery Address Data subsection:
In this subsection, enter Alternate Delivery Address Data details for your shipment.

Type the two-letter US abbreviation for the Access Point Hold Service state address details. For Example: AB |

Type the Access Point Hold Service ZIP code details. |
Consignee Notification subsection:
In this subsection, enter the consignee notification details for Access Point Hold Service shipment.

From the drop-down list, select the required Access Point Media Type Code. The values available for selection are: • SMS Text Notes: •For Access Point hold service shipment with destination of US or Puerto Rico, Email is the only allowed notification media type. •For Access Point hold service shipments with destinations other than US or Puerto Rico, user should be able to specify Email or SMS as the notification media types. |
Package Release Code |
Shippers selecting Ship to a UPS Access Point Hold Service can select to apply the Package Release Code option to provide a more flexible delivery experience. A Package Release Code is minimum of 4 character and maximum of 6 characters. It is Numeric. It is entered once per shipment. Note: Can be combined with all other accessorials that are allowed with Access Point Hold service except cannot be used with the Delivery to Addressee Only Indicator. |

From the drop-down list, select the notification language for the Email text. |
Type the Email address where you want the Email to be sent. Be sure to use proper e-mail address format. |

Failure Email |
Type the Failure Email address. Be sure to use proper e-mail address format. Note: There can only be one distinct Failure Email address per shipment, so if the user passed a failure email address as part of Quantum View then this address here needs to be the same. |
Subject Code |
From the drop-down list, select the notification subject code for the Email text. |
The following fields are enabled, when you select Media Type Code as SMS Text from the drop-down list. |

Select this check box, if you want to apply Parcel Motel Locker. Note: This check box is unchecked (cleared) by default. |
4. After you entered all the Access Point Hold Service details that you want to apply to the shipment, click [DONE]. To clear the screen, click [CLEAR TAB].
