Before a carrier can pick up the packages you processed, you must do the following for that carrier:

1.Close the carrier's shipments using the Close page on the Ship menu.

2.Upload the electronic file of the shipments (also known as EDI file as well as other names depending on the carrier) to the carrier using the Close page on the Ship menu.

Note: Not all carriers support electronic upload files. Instead, those carriers normally require a printed report or electronic media to be handed to the driver when they arrive to pick up the packages. See the next step about reports.

3.Print the reports that are required to accompany the shipments using the Reports page on the Ship menu.
