To process a FedEx package with the Hold at Location service option, follow these steps:
1.Complete the required information on the Warehouse page for the package. On the Receiver tab, be sure to include the recipient's phone number so that FedEx can notify the recipient about the package when it arrives at a specific location.
2.Select FedEx in the Carrier list. Select one of the following services in the Service list:
•Priority Overnight®
•Standard Overnight®
•2Day®
•Express Saver®
•1Day® Freight
•2Day® Freight
•3Day® Freight
•International Priority®
•FedEx Ground® (US origin only)
3.If you selected International Priority, complete the Items and INTL tabs for the international shipment.
4.On the Parcel tab, click [OPTIONS].
5.Select the FedEx Add. Services tab.
6.At the top of the tab, select Hold at Location check box to hold the shipment at a designated location other than the recipient’s address.
7.Complete all of the required fields on the tab as follows:

Type the street address of the specific location to specify where package is held for pickup. For the addresses of specific locations in the United States, see the drop-off locator on the FedEx Web site or call the U.S. FedEx Customer Service number: 1.800.GoFedEx 1.800.463.3339 For international locations, call FedEx Express International Customer Service (see the FedEx Web site for the current number). |
City |
Type the city name of the specific location, where package is held for pickup. |
ZIP |
Type the postal code of the specific location, where package is held for pickup. |
Country |
From the drop-down list, select the country of the specific location, at which the package is held. |
State |
If applicable for the selected country, select the state of the specific location, where package is held for pickup |
Phone |
Type the phone number of the specific location. |
Address 2 |
Type the street address2 of the specific location to specify where package is held for pickup. |
Branded Name |
Type the FedEx branded name of the specific location, at which the package is held. |
Location Type |
From the drop-down list, select the location type of the specific location, at which the package is held. Valid values are as follows: •FedEx Express •FedEx Office •FedEx OnSite |
Location Phone |
Type the location phone of the specific location that the recipient or shipper can use to contact the specific location, at which the package is held. |
Location Id |
Type the location id of the specific location, at which the package is to be held. |
9.Click [DONE] to return to the Warehouse page.
10.On the Parcel tab, click [ADD] to add the package to the shipment.
11.Click [SHIP] to ship the package.
