FedEx - FedEx International Priority DirectDistribution® Overview |
Scroll |
FedEx International Priority DirectDistribution® service (formerly Transborder Distribution) groups two or more international packages destined for one import country into one shipment for the purpose of consolidated Customs clearance in the import country. Use FedEx International Priority DirectDistribution® for packages destined to different locations in the same country or for packages destined to different countries within the European Union.
At the FedEx Customs Clearance facility in the import country, the FedEx International Priority DirectDistribution® shipment is processed and cleared as one shipment. Following Customs clearance, FedEx breaks down the FedEx International Priority DirectDistribution® shipment and distributes the packages to the different locations in that country. If the packages are all destined to European Union countries, they can be included in the same FedEx International Priority DirectDistribution® shipment.
For a description of the FedEx International Priority DirectDistribution® shipping process, see FedEx International Priority DirectDistribution® - Process Overview.
