For Express and Ground shipments, FedEx supports alternate Return and Remittance addresses. This functionality enables returns and COD payments to be sent to different addresses than the location that shipped the goods.

You can enter or edit these addresses on the Return To tab on the Parcel Warehouse screen with a FedEx carrier when you select an Express or Ground Service. This Return To tab includes the following sub-tabs:

•Alternate Return Address – Alternate address to which returns are to be sent.

•Alternate Remittance Address – Alternate address to which COD payments are to be sent.

By default, Parcel populates both the Alternate Return Address and Alternate Remittance Address sub-tabs with the same address information as the Sender tab. However, you can change this address information by one of the following methods:

•Configure default values for the alternate address information on these sub-tabs using the Parcel Configuration (Web Admin) tool. If you configure these addresses as Location settings, Parcel displays them automatically on their respective tabs when shipping with a supported FedEx service. For more information, see the following Help topic: Add Location.

•Configure values for the default alternate address information on these sub-tabs as follows. Select My Profile > Settings, and then fill in the required information on the Alternate Return Address tab and/or Alternate Remittance tab on the Settings screen. Note: User-level default settings including Alternate Address information take precedence over Location-level settings configured with the Web Admin tool.

•Clear the fields and enter the new information directly, by entering a Customer Code, or by clicking the arrow to the right and populating the fields on the Return To tab from one of the Address Books.
