Desktop Step 5 - Ship

After you select a service with which to ship the package and click its rate in Step 4, a summary of all of the package information you entered appears in Step 5. To complete the shipment, first verify the information, add any options, then click [SHIP] at the bottom of the page.

To complete the shipment, do the following:

1.Verify the information on the page. To correct any information, click the Step bar on the left side of the page to go back to the step where you entered the information and correct it.

To view an itemized list of the charges for the package, click the Total Freight hyperlink.

To keep the recipient address in the Desktop application so that it automatically appears in Step 2 the next time you process a package, select the Keep Address check box.

Return to Step 4 and the rate shop list to select a different service with which to ship the package.

OPTIONS

Add any Special Service options to the package.

SHIP

Ship the package.

 

After you click [SHIP], Parcel displays the shipment label in a popup window. To print it on the printer you set up for desktop shipping, click the File menu and select [Print].

For all carriers and shipments, after a successful Desktop Ship operation, Parcel also displays a confirmation message in the message bar at the top of the screen. This message includes the tracking number of the package.
