New features summarized below, see the Version 3.6.000 release notes for details
The following new features, functions, and add-ons are included in this release of Flagship:
•Flagship Configuration (Web Admin) Tool – Enables a user with an Administrator or Enterprise Administrator role to configure carriers with the Flagship Web application itself. (This functionality replaces the separate application used in previous Flagship versions – see About the Flagship Configuration Tool.)
•Client-based Printing – Provides added support for client-based printing as a standard product feature. This feature enables users to configure and print to a local printer directly from their local workstation. (See Location Settings - Printer Map.)
•Single Sign-on – Enables users at a customer site to sign on to a Flagship environment hosted by BluJay Solutions through their local network. (Note that this function is set up and configured at the customer site.)
•Default Ship-to-Hold – Enables Ship-to-Hold to be specified as the default for a specific user. (See Processing a Shipment To Hold.)
•Automatic Generation of Shipment ID – This feature works with Default Ship-to-Hold, enabling users with this Role to automatically generate Shipment IDs for to-Hold shipments. (See Processing a Shipment To Hold.)
•Enhancement to Tracking Filters – This convenience function enables users to filter by the user who was the initiator of a shipment. (See Track By User.)
•International Ship-to-Hold – Removes restrictions from Ship-to-Hold for international shipments. (This add-on represents a new use case.)
•Hazard-to-Hold – Removes restrictions from Hazard-to-Hold. (This add-on represents a new use case.)
